The biggest advance since January has been in the email list. I work the hardest on growing that list because that's where I can best grow my business. I am using my own system, called B2B Social Marketing Machine system to create the success I'm seeing in building the email list. The product will be launching very soon. If you want more information on it, sign up for my free ebook, and you will be added to my newsletter list. That's where I announce all of my new products first.

Now that I have traffic rolling in well for the email list, I want to work more on building my Fanpage “Likes”. Because I am a B2B business, I find it more difficult to build this particular list. I'm seeing the same trend with my social media management clients. So I'm testing out a new app that runs sweepstakes and contests on Facebook to see what kind of success I can generate with it. If I find it a hit, I will certainly be talking all about it. But I have a rule, that any strategy I teach, first I have to try it on my own business and make sure it really works. So stay tuned for more on that also.

The newest stat in the list above is the number of podcasts and podcast downloads. I'm really having a blast creating the podcast and am getting more regular in producing new shows. Go to iTunes and subscribe to the podcast to get the latest episodes as they come out. And if you like the show, please post a review in iTunes.

Are you measuring your social marketing stats monthly?

The real stats shows the actual importance of social networking websites and the gradual increase of traffic via these social networks. As people are now interacting by social networks so it seems like the next generation would be more preferably relying on social networks for syndication of their thoughts.

Very true. It’s only once you know how many people are coming to your site from Facebook, that you can then try strategies to increase this number. Thanks for responding!
